We’re proud to announce a brand new restaurant in the City of Commerce, located just twenty-two miles north of Disneyland, and six miles south-east of Downtown Los Angeles; why Commerce?
“We’ve made the bold move to find an area close to Los Angeles (the second largest city in the Unites States, and amazing food epicenter) and open a restaurant in the middle of a commercial and residential area” says Francisco Perez, the restaurant’s owner. “This location is important to us since it is near key landmarks such as Citadel Outlets and the Commerce Casino. It’s where we’ve chosen to take our next step in bringing traditional Mexican flavors to a wider audience” Perez said.
About Commerce
More often known as The City of Commerce (to distinguish it from the common noun) people can get here via the Long Beach and Santa Ana freeways. The city is considered a central hub because of its proximity to Vernon, Downtown Los Angeles, East L.A., Montebello, Downey, Bell Gardens, and Maywood.
“The motto of Commerce is “The Model City” because it was designed as a model for its neighbors, with its industrial and commercial endeavors. Ours is “Traditional Mexican Lamb Barbecue,” and we also strive to be a model for authentic Mexican cuisine. We believe opening our newest location in Commerce, then, is our biggest step in that direction” says Perez.
A Piece of Texcoco Near
Los Angeles
With a large Latino community, Los Angeles is the perfect place to expand our vision of Traditional Mexican Lamb Barbecue. Our barbacoa will be familiar to some, and a new taste adventure for others. We’re sure you’ll find something enjoyable, like our lamb, chicken, or rabbit Mixiotes; our Chicharron de Queso; or famous Barbacoa de Borrego.
Whether you’re in Tijuana, San Diego, or Los Angeles, you’re never really very far from Aqui es Texcoco.
Hi I wish you guys open another place in San Fernando Valley, that’ll be awesome. Thanks.
Open one in Las vegas. Tacos el gordo de tijuanna has been a success here. I bet Aqui es texcoco would trive here.
Hi Jorge, thank you for your comment. We are in the process of expanding our restaurant to other cities, including Las Vegas. We’ll keep you posted!
