If you made it to The Taste L.A. this past September 4th to the 6th, 2015, you got to spend some time with some famous chefs and tasting the amazing food and beverages. The Taste L.A. festival is hosted by the Los Angeles Times. For us, it was an honor to be among the best in the L.A. food scene.
In no particular order, here are some of the wonderful things we saw (and ate from) during the event.
- Alma
- Corazon de Tierra
- Ricardo Zarate from Once
- BierBeisl Imbiss
- Chichen Itza Restaurant
- Artisan House
- Dandy Don’s Homemade Ice Cream
- CHAYA
- Diablo Taco
- Terrine
- Don Julio
- Mr. Chow Beverly Hills + Malibu
- Choctál
- Asian Box
- Knob Creek
- PettyCash
We saw so many Chefs and TV Personalities, too:
Top Chef Masters contestant and owner of a brand new restaurant in L.A. Lukshon, Chef Sang Yoon.
Curtis Stone and Paco
If you aren’t impressed enough, we had the opportunity to meet Chef Curtis Stone.
Chef Curtis is an Australian celebrity chef, author and television personality, nicknamed “The Quiet Terminator” by fans following his performance on The Celebrity Apprentice 3 and Bravo’s Top Chef Duels.
And the thrill of the last night was to meet the Jonathan Gold, himself! He is the food critic who currently writes for the Los Angeles Times and has previously written for LA Weekly and Gourmet. In 2007 he became the first food critic to win the Pulitzer Prize.
So, yes, we had a great time serving our authentic brand of barbacoa de borrego at the The Taste 2015.
Is it 2016 yet?
